Benson K. Woo (Director: Strategic and Financial Development) has served as CFO and treasurer in both public and private equity industrials, including Gibson Guitar, Rayonier Advanced Materials, Prestolite Electric, Tower Automotive, TriMas, Metris, York, and Case New Holland.

Earlier, he was General Motors’ director of worldwide banking & US cash management, and treasurer for GM Brazil and GM/Suzuki Canada.  Benson has extensive experience in debt & equity financing, cost restructuring, acquisitions, treasury, investor relations, and profit turnaround. 

Currently, a board member of the Great Lakes Chamber Music Festival, and the Detroit Concert Choir, Benson also was previously on the board of TEAC Corporation, and the development committee of The MIT Corporation. 

Benson holds a BS in electrical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.  He has an avid interest in string theory physics and foreign policy.  Benson interviews high school students applying for admission to M.I.T. and resides in Bloomfield Hills, MI.

Dawn has been a member of the DCC since 1999 and is honored to be part of such an esteemed organization. Dawn developed the DCC website, and helps with all the technology aspects of the choir.

Concert Logistics

Bob joined the Detroit Concert Choir in 1988. Bob leads the concert set up team and transports and stores the choir's risers and production equipment.
